We are currently looking for a Service Technician to join our team on a 6 - 8 month contract basis to provide timely and market leading workshop based service and repair of ICU Medical Technology portfolio located across both public and private hospitals along with Life Science and Educational Institutions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performing repairs and testing of customer equipment and peripherals
- Organising the scheduling of repairs, testing and return/storage of equipment
- Controlling parts inventories
- Monitoring job costing and repair centre performance.
- Maintaining Repair Hub Calibration process and procedures
- Processing Tech Service processes and procedures via Oracle
- Diagnosing and solving technical problems and where necessary interpreting complex problems
- Assisting with the installation, programming and testing of hospital implementations when necessary
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- 1-2 years in a technical servicing/repair field with practical product repair experience
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven problem analysis and problem solving skills
- Growing knowledge of the organisation's products (or ability to learn)
- Engineering degree (Biomedical / Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic or Mechanical) preferred but not essential
- Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Biomedical / IT or Mechatronic)
- Must have Australian or New Zealand working rights
