About the role
This position is based in Darwin and services our customers sites across northern Australia and involves working with brands such as MSA Safety, 3M Scott Safety, Honeywell Analytics, Bauer and Paramount Safety, this role will be inspecting, servicing and calibrating lifesaving equipment including but not limited to Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), Gas Monitoring & Detection Instruments, Breathing Air compressors, Fire Equipment and Fire Detection and Suppression systems, Confined Space and Working at Heights Equipment.
While prior experience is looked upon favourably, this position includes both on the job and supplier accredited training for the right applicant to develop the skills required for a career in workplace fire and safety equipment compliance as a Service Technician.

Preferred Skills & Experience
- Customer Service Experience
- Computer Experience (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Mechanical trade or hands on experience preferred
- High commitment to safety and safe work practices
- Willingness to complete product specific and general industry training
- Ability to complete site work in various locations throughout NT.
- Delivery of quality workmanship with attention to detail
- Ability to work without supervision and as part of a team.
- Current Drivers License Trade certificate or experience as a Service Technician.
- Possess experience in undertaking fault finding and repair
- Ability to obtain and maintain a national police clearance and defence clearance.
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol medical assessments
