Pilequip Australia a member of the Dieseko Group of companies the Netherlands, is a leading provider of piling & foundation equipment in Australia & New Zealand, based in Sydney's Hills District / Hawkesbury area. The position is based at our Vineyard NSW yard & workshop.
Key Responsibilities
With respect to our own equipment and customer's equipment carry out with the other Service Technicians the repairs and servicing as required, as well as:
- Incoming inspections of equipment
- Assessment of work/repairs required.
- Ensure time sheets and work/service records completed.
- Supporting the commissioning and servicing activities of customers’ foundation and drilling equipment.
- Supporting service and maintenance of our rental fleet of hydraulic vibratory, impact piling hammers, power packs as well as LP Drills etc., both in our workshop and on construction sites as required.
- In the early stages of your employment, you will spend the majority of your time at our yard in Vineyard working on equipment and developing a familiarization with the specific equipment that we handle.
- It is anticipated that there will be concurrent requirements for you to travel onto job sites around Sydney, within NSW and at times interstate, to support service and repair activities on our customers’ piling equipment.
- Your training on our equipment will eventually lead to on-site commissioning of new and rental equipment of this type, and training of customers’ personnel as required within Australia.
- You will report directly to the workshop manager, however you will be individually responsible for any work allocated to you.
- We expect you to be able to take your own initiative at all times and welcome and encourage input from all employees on new and/or improved work methods, procedures and ideas.
Requirements
- Must be an Australian resident/citizen.
- Must hold a current driver’s license.
- Relevant trade qualifications, and experience in hydraulics and electrics desirable
- Current Forklift license desirable
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Adaptability to change.
- Treat customers with respect
- A positive "can-do" attitude
