Form of workOur class leading client who has been around for over 40 years is currently recruiting for a CNC Service Technician to join their team. This role will include the installation and servicing of high end CNC machinery as well as the training of operators on their new equipment.
This exciting role will include Victorian and interstate travel for roughly one week a month, when you are not out on site you will be working in the workshop completing pre-install calibration and testing of the CNC equipment.
Training will be provided to the successful applicant including in-house training and some specialist overseas training with the manufacturers which is all paid for by our client! Experience in mechanical and hydraulics is highly regarded but candidates without that experience will get expert training in house to get you up to speed!
Key Requirements for this role are;
- A can-do attitude
- Experince working with CNC machines
- PLC experience
- Some mechanical skills (or willingness to learn)
- Some Electrical skills (or willingness to learn)
- Troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in rural Victoria and interstate for one week at at time
Please note, this role will not just be electrical but also some mechanical and hydraulics as well, so the willingness to get your hands dirty is key!
