Position Overview:
As a Service Technician at Evolve, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional journey with our electric skateboards and e-bik. You'll be the technical friendly voice and face of our company, assisting riders with their inquiries, resolving issues, and leaving a lasting positive impression.
Key Responsibilities:
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing top-tier support to our valued customers via phone, email, chat, and social media.
- Assisting customers with product inquiries, troubleshooting, and technical support.
- Getting on the tools, diagnosing problems and resolving issues
- Offering guidance on product selection, maintenance, and usage tips.
- Processing orders, returns, and warranty concerns efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborating closely with our dispatch, marketing, and technical teams to address customer needs.
- Gathering customer feedback and insights to contribute to product improvement.
- Ensuring a seamless and delightful customer experience at every touchpoint.
Requirements for the role
We're looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Experience with customer service and sales through various channels including online, wholesale and in store retail;
- Empathetic and patient, with a genuine desire to help customers.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and navigate systems.
- Ability to use initiative and work as a team.
Desirable but not essential
- Experience with and an understanding of electrical components;
- Experience with and competency in using a variety of tools;
- Experience communicating with customers for technical support and/or remote diagnostics and troubleshooting;
- Understanding of mechanical drive systems;
- Use of Shopify and customer service CRM (Gorgias preferred)
- Be physically fit and capable of riding electric skateboards and e-bikes for the purposes of testing, and basically just having fun and sharing the stoke!
