The Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Service Technician to join our motivated, friendly team. This is an important and valued role within our business in providing ongoing support to our clients and their families for the lifetime of their important piece/s of Assistive Technology.
We want you to lead and grow our service team, working within our Fairfield based engineering factory/workshop and offsite, covering metropolitan Melbourne and greater Victoria. Working closely with our Service Coordinator, the position includes assessment, maintenance and repairs of a wide range of Mobility and Rehabilitation equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and repairs of Assistive Technology for individuals and facilities
- Scheduled servicing and maintenance for individuals and facilities
- Assisting with the installation of Assistive Technology
- Ensuring that works are followed through to completion in a timely manner
- Preparation of clear and concise work reports
- Maintaining a neat and tidy company vehicle and work area at all times
- Fleet management and vehicle stock maintained to ensure efficient service
Skills & Attributes Required:
- Basic Fabrication skills (aluminium, stainless steel) an advantage
- Mechanical/electrical/ background
- 2 years field experience within the Healthcare or service-related sector preferable
- Creative thinker / problem solver / trouble-shooter
- Self-driven with a friendly, outgoing manner
- Enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team
- Current driver's license – full and unrestricted
- The successful applicant must be willing to undergo full background and license checks: National Police Check - Working with Children Check - Victorian NDIS Worker Screen Check
