About the Role
We are currently seeking our newest Service Technician Trainee. You will have the opportunity to study a Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing and learn new skills whilst working in a supportive team environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone to get into the fire service industry with the willingness to undertake a traineeship. If you enjoy a hands-on role with the ability to build lasting relationships, then this might be the role for you. This position is ideally suited to someone who:

The successful applicant will work closely with another Service Technician during their Traineeship to assist with undertaking the following duties:
- Service the following fire equipment in accordance with relevant standards:
- Fire Extinguishers.
- Fire hose reels.
- Fire hydrants.
- Fire and smoke doors.
- Fire sprinkler system.
- Fire alarm systems.
- Fire and emergency lighting.
- Minor repairs.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- A valid driver’s license.
- Current National Police Clearance within 12 months (or willingness to obtain).
- Necessary clearances to enter secure facilities such as schools, aged care facilities, police stations, banks, etc. We will arrange screenings if not already obtained.
- Current Flu/COVID-19 vaccinations (as required).
- Great communication and relationship building skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability collaborate with others.
- Basic hand tool knowledge is desirable but not essential.
