Service Technician

Are you an experienced technician with expertise in heavy mobile equipment and trucks? Giide is seeking a dedicated Service Technician's to join our client team based in Sydney. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to engage in hands-on work across various sites, interacting with clients, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on heavy equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in heavy equipment and vehicles at client sites.
• Conduct comprehensive breakdown and routine servicing directly in the field.
• Compile and submit detailed job reports.
• Deliver outstanding customer service during on-site operations.
• Manage and adhere to OH&S safety regulations during all service tasks.
• Work collaboratively with team members on larger projects as required.

• Solid experience in servicing heavy vehicles or materials handling equipment, including crushers and compactors.
• Relevant trade qualifications such as Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, Diesel Mechanic, or Auto-Electrician, or substantial experience in these fields.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driver’s license; HR license preferred (or willingness to acquire one).
• Physical fitness and the capability to perform manual handling tasks as needed.
• Current rights to live and work in Australia.
