Serviceman – Mining

Our client, has been operating 25 mines across Australia over the past 25 years and is among Australia's largest producers of coal, copper, zinc, lead, nickel and cobalt. Located on one of the world's largest deposits of Zinc and lead, 970 kilometres south-east of Darwin, our client is increasing their workforce significantly and are ideally are looking to grow their team with dynamic, agile and committed people looking for long-term career opportunities.

Offering competitive hourly rates, 3:1 rosters and 12-hours paid per shift, position currently available for reliable and experienced Serviceman for role in the Northern Territory.

Wet Season - Our client has confirmed that they pay 12 hours per shift, ever if you are rained off.

About the site:

• Flights are provided to site from Darwin.
• Meals, accommodation and laundry facilities are provided on site.
• Your accommodation consists of an ensuite room.
• Access to wet mess, driving range, gym, personal trainers and a shooting range.

About You:

To be suitable for this position you will be required to have prior civil or mining Serviceman experience:

• White card and Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence (required)
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and D&A screening.
• Willing to provide a National Police Clearance.
• Trade qualification such as LV Mechanic (highly regarded however not essential).
• Experience in role requiring mechanical aptitude (required).
• Familiarity with CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi equipment.
• Committed and dedicated to learning.
• Proven commitment to health and safety.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
• Highly motivated and results orientated.
• Able to provide 2 relevant, recent and contactable referees.
