Our client is embarking on an exciting project to develop and optimize their ServiceNow environment. We are committed to delivering top-notch IT service management solutions and are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Consultant to join their team on an initial 3-month contract.
Position Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in implementing and configuring the ServiceNow CMDB (Configuration Management Database) module. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT service management and proven expertise in establishing and maintaining a robust CMDB within the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and configuration of the ServiceNow CMDB module.
- Develop and maintain the CMDB framework, including configuration item (CI) class structures and relationships.
- Design and execute data import and reconciliation processes for CMDB.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify and document CMDB requirements.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CMDB by establishing effective data governance practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, configuration guides, and process workflows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a focus on CMDB implementation and configuration.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management principles.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, including data import, transformation, and mapping.
- Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript, Glide) and ServiceNow development best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
