Their strength lies in understanding our customers' pain points and then using technology and resourcing background to form a solution that will assist them in solving their problems. They have a huge database of technical resources across India and the Philippines, which combined with their intelligent sourcing, helps in plugging talent gaps in the local Australian market.They are seeking a ServiceNow Developer who has experience in developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions as per User Stories in the JIRA building as per the acceptance criteria mentioned as well as performing unit testing. The successful candidate will report directly to the client's project manager.Tasks required include:
- ServiceNow Development: Bring your 5+ years of hands-on development experience in ServiceNow to the table:
- Build and maintain next-generation ServiceNow ITOM modules to support the latest technology assets, such as containers and their environments.
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications, modules, forms, and workflows.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other systems using REST/SOAP web services, API calls, and mid-server configurations to ensure seamless data flow and visibility.
- Create and maintain ServiceNow data models, scripting, ATF tests, and ACLs to uphold data integrity, security, and compliance.
- UI/UX Design: Utilise your expertise in UI/UX design, particularly within the ServiceNow Employee Service Centre.
- Solution Development: Contribute to both project and BAU solution development efforts.
- Configuration and Customisation: Build and configure Out of the Box (OOTB) and custom solutions on the ServiceNow Platform, encompassing process design, estimation, and development (comprising 90% of your role).
- Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts to draft project Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and technical specifications.
- Agile Approach: Embrace monthly development sprint cycles and support operational tasks, including 3rd-level support.
- Product Releases: Focus on the successful implementation of product releases, collaborating with BAU/project teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design data, system, and functional changes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure timely, high-standard delivery of solutions and execute update set deployments to test and production environments while adhering to change management procedures.
- System Upgrades: Coordinate and participate in system upgrades.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in your team’s operating rhythm, providing progress updates through agreed forums and channels.
- Documentation: Prepare User manual and provide system-related training to clients or end-users.
- System Training: Identify and document business processes, and functional requirement specifications to align user stories, and case scenarios including evaluating outcomes for developers.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent of a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
- Solid track record as a ServiceNow developer with expertise in IT Operations management modules, such as CMDB, Service Mapping, and CSDM.
- In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its various components, including API integrations, Flow Designer, and Workflows.
- Experience with GRC and HRSD modules will be nice to have.
- Proficiency in Client-side and Server-side scripting, debugging, HTML, CSS, XML, and RESTful web services.
- Expertise in ServiceNow development best practices, such as coding standards, security, performance optimization, and version control.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and deliver top-quality results on time.
