MYtech Consulting Services is seeking a ServiceNow System Administrator to provide operational and development support to the Northern Territory Government (NTG) Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) systems environment. This position is for a 12-month contract in Darwin, Northern Territory.
The services required include provision of in-depth specialised advice to apply consistent standards within the ServiceNow GRC environment, and to identify relevant system enhancements/improvements and/or additional system components that meet agreed business requirements. Work requirements will also include provision and maintenance of technical documentation and advice regarding the impacts of implementing system enhancements/improvements in line with NTG standards and policies.
The ServiceNow System Administrator will also be required to provide operational and development support to the NTG's ServiceNow Service and Identity Management systems environment.
The ServiceNow System Administrator will report to the Senior Manager, Cyber Projects.
It is strongly preferred that the work is performed on-site and in Darwin. For exceptional candidates, a hybrid arrangement may be considered.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong ability to design, develop, build, and configure ServiceNow modules to meet NTG business requirements
- Strong ability to provide technical advice and implement approved system configuration changes
- Strong ability to triage, investigate and resolve incidents and problems
- Strong ability to identify and mitigate risks within the environment ensuring system integrity is maintained
- High analytical and problem-solving skills with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to translate complex analytical and technical information into clear and meaningful terms
- Ability to understand architecture/design of system integrations via API/SDK (desirable)
- Ability to work both within a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to be flexible with work assignments in a constantly changing environment and on multiple consecutive projects across the SIMS environment
- Ability to provide advice and feedback in relation to the development and maintenance of system configuration
Experience:
- High level of experience working with ServiceNow product suite in an environment that has a high degree of product customisation
- High level of experience liaising with ServiceNow in relation to support including patches and version upgrades
- Significant experience in the development and maintenance of technical and business documentation including system functional requirements
- Demonstrated experience in Test Management, Change Management and Project Management
- Demonstrated experience in ServiceNow languages such as Java, HTML, Angular and Jelly (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in working and performing in situations where there are tight deadlines
- Demonstrated experience in working in a fast-paced team environment with the ability to collaborate and knowledge transfer to other team members
Qualifications:
- Essential: ServiceNow Fundamentals and ServiceNow System Administrator
- Highly desirable: ITIL 4 Service Management certification
- Highly desirable: experience within the NTG and work in a multi-service provider service delivery model
