ABOUT THE ROLE
As our next Serviceperson reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
Thiess Rehabilitation is currently seeking experienced fitters for an opportunity at Ensham mine which is located 40km east of Emerald. Thiess Rehabilitation is committed to delivering mine rehabilitation services at Ensham over a 3.5 year term, and are looking for people to be part of this exciting project.
- Servicing heavy earthmoving equipment
- Conduct refuelling operations
- Assist fitters where required
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
- General workshop duties
- Ability to record information accurately during the servicing process
Roster & Conditions
- 7 on 7 off rotating shift roster
- 12-hour day & night shift
- Permanent position
- Permanent workshop facilities

OUR REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role you are required to have:
- Cert 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent (desirable)
- Prior experience working as a serviceperson on a mine site
- HR driver's licence preferable
- Experience operating 775 or similar Service trucks (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience working in the mining and heavy earthmoving industry
- A commitment to a positive safety culture
- Ability to work unsupervised and run independently
