RequirementsPOSITION PURPOSE
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the Serviceman role is vital to ensuring maintenance of mine machinery is managed on site while having a strong focus on safety, production, quality, people, and customer service. Roster: 7 days on / 7 off; Residential role only, no FIFO.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |OPERATIONS
- Operate service truck in and around the mine site
- General workshop and stores duties
- Assist trades personnel where required
- Other duties as required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | MAINTENANCE
- Refueling, servicing, and re-greasing of machines
- Record damages identified during servicing
- Preventative servicing schedule on HME fleet.
SKILLS AND SELECTION CRITERIA | RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proof of Right to work in Australia: Candidates with temporary working rights in Australia will not be considered. Please indicate your right to work in Australia in your application (e.g. Permanent resident, Australian Citizen etc).
- Current valid HR License
- Working at Heights (preferred but not mandatory)
- Confined Space (preferred but not mandatory)
SKILLS AND SELECTION CRITERIA | ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Commitment to working in a safe and efficient manner
- Experience working as a Serviceman on a mine site with heavy mining equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication, industry experience, good interpersonal skills, able to work in a team and unsupervised.
