Overview
The Services Assistant is responsible for providing a timely, efficient and effective service, that involves the catering and cleaning of the health unit.
Duties may include:
- Catering: Preparation of food, meal service, kitchen cleaning including dishes and washing floors. Must comply with Food Safety Standards.
- Cleaning: Standard and additional precaution cleaning of rooms, passages, offices and public toilets, window and curtain maintenance, rubbish removal. Must comply with cleaning standards.
- Laundry: Collection, preparation, washing, drying, folding and distribution of resident/patient clothing and some hospital owned goods. Must comply with laundry standards.
This is a casual relief pool and on call hours only. Must be available over 7 days and will be required to work across Riverland General Hospital and Barmera Health Service.
