Your Team

The Settlements Consultant is responsible for all reported settlement claims, providing accurate empathic support and guidance for our third-party customers (individuals and other insurers) and ensuring that cost control strategies and customer service delivery processes are efficiently concluded.

Your Role

With the guidance and support of the Motor Claims Team Leader – Recoveries & Settlements, the Settlements Consultant is responsible for the communication and processing of all settlement claims.

Your duties & responsibilities
  • Liaise with suppliers and service providers and ensure satisfactory service levels are provided to clients within delegated authority
  • Responds to clients and suppliers/service providers in a prompt, courteous and knowledgeable manner
  • Management and proactive maintenance of outstanding claim reserves at every claim interaction to ensure the accuracy of the claim reserves outstanding for the entire claims portfolio
Your knowledge & experience 
  • Sound understanding of Motor Insurance claims practices and products
  • Strong technical insurance and policy interpretation skills
  • Strong attention to detail skills
  • Building customer rapport
