We're looking for a self-motivated and conscientious professional to join our Settlements team. As a Settlements Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of securities transactions in a fast-paced environment within private sector.
What you will be doing
- Process various transactions and instructions using the FNZ Broker settlement system and interfaces to Clearing House Electronic Subregister System (CHESS) and Share registries
- Process conversion of ASX securities from Issuer to CHESS
- Process, administer and update ASX Broker to Broker CHESS transfers
- Process client requested and authorised off market transfers of ASX securities
- Communicate, escalate and provide information to management, front office staff, the branch network, share registries and other brokers in response to enquires
What you will bring
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate processing
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Self-motivated and ability to meet deadlines
- Service focus
- Sound prioritisation and problem solving skills
- Previous experience with Equities Settlements (advantageous)
- Experience with FNZ Shares (advantageous)
