Aquaterro is an Australian owned, medium-sized company that has grown over 30 years under the same ownership, to become one of Australia’s largest providers of individual equipment to the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and police customers around Australia. Aquaterro employs full time industrial design staff who are constantly working on new product design, and product development with our key manufacturing partners. Aquaterro has in-house Industrial 3D Printing capability, for customer and in house use, as well as Laser Cutting and Engraving, Industrial Sewing and Rapid Prototyping facilities.
Qualifications & experience
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machines.
- Sewing and Garment Manufacturing Skills
- Ability to follow manufacturing processes
- Accuracy and thoroughness with attention to detail in all work undertaken
- Be able to work unsupervised and part of a team as required
- Punctual with reliable transportation
Tasks & responsibilities
- Operating industrial lockstitch sewing machines to manufacture textile products.
- Ability to thread machine, insert needle and check tensions etc.
- Ability to read, write and understand simple instructions and short correspondence in English.
- Follow assembly instructions and Bill of Materials to produce finished textile products.
- Maintain Quality Control, and package completed textile products.
- Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.
