The Sexual Health Nurse will provide information, assessments, interventions, case management, education, and health promotion activities to reduce the spread of BBV’s and STI’s, and improve the outcomes for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population of Albury and Wodonga region. The main duties of this position are to increase BBV and STI testing, treatment and prevention, and contact tracing where required, as well as assist in enabling the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to co design and implement locally responsive approaches to assist in reducing the long term BBV and STI prevalence.
