We are on the lookout for a versatile SharePoint consultant to take over the development of a cutting-edge collaborative intranet on Office 365 for a well known university. While primarily remote, this role may require occasional on-site presence as needed. As the chosen candidate, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating workshops to meticulously gather requirements for the upcoming intranet, aimed at fostering knowledge sharing and secure collaboration among university staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Scope, design, and analyse solutions for SharePoint Online, ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives.
- Conduct current state assessments and business requirements to architect solutions designed for SharePoint Online , identifying areas for enhancement and improvement.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their functional and non-functional requirements, providing clear and quality advice based on deep technical knowledge.
- Architect scalable and efficient SharePoint solutions, aligning with business goals and best practices, and customise and configure SharePoint sites, security, permissions, lists, libraries, workflows, and forms to meet specific business needs.
- Resolve conflicts as they arise and escalate risks, dependencies, and constraints to ensure project success.
- Document technical specifications, architecture designs, and deployment procedures, and provide training and support to end-users on SharePoint functionalities.
- Facilitate training workshops and develop training materials.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 administration and consulting.
- SharePoint and/or Microsoft 365 certifications are highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated project delivery experience is highly desirable.
- 2 years of experience or deep understanding of intranet management and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Usability and User Experience principles, with a proven track record in designing intuitive UI/UX interfaces to enhance end-user experiences.
- Deep technical expertise in Microsoft 365 technologies, particularly SharePoint development, to provide guidance, coaching, and training to peers.
- Proficiency in designing Information Architecture and content management for intranets.
- Exceptional communication skills, including engaging with internal teams, vendors, and customers, with a focus on effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences, emphasizing stakeholder engagement and technology adoption.
- Proven ability to work both collaboratively within a team and autonomously to meet tight deadlines efficiently.
