We have an exciting opportunity for a SharePoint Developer for our government client based in Brisbane CBD.
This position is based in the organisation’s Transformation Office and contributes to the planning and delivery of organisation-wide projects, change and transformation through development of SharePoint sites that provide access to tools, templates and information for the workforce.
In this role you will:
- Develop and design SharePoint Online sites that can be accessed via intranet pages.
- Interpret project and change management frameworks, methodologies, tools and templates to design and structure the sites in a logical and user-friendly way.
- Apply knowledge and experience of developing services and solutions in different ways to improve accessibility and user experience.
- Ensure appropriate security measures are implemented through consultation and collaboration with internal digital / ICT partners.
- Support the development of other online content as required, potentially utilising Tribal Habits, PowerBI and other Microsoft Power Platform products.
- Providing user manuals and coaching to support the ongoing internal management of SharePoint Online sites and other tools and resources developed.
- Have strong communication and consultation skills to understand user requirements
- Be highly skilled and experienced in designing and developing SharePoint products to maximise the user experience
- Be flexible and adaptable to work with different products and tools
The essential requirements for this role are:
- Highly developed SharePoint Online development skills and experience
- Delivers a high-quality SharePoint Online product that is user-friendly
- Knowledge of project and change management as a practice and able to interpret content in these domains to ensure most suitable layout and structure
Desirable -
- Experience with Tribal Habits or other learning content management systems is desirable but not essential
- Experience with PowerBI is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of instructional design is desirable but not essential
