About the Role
We have an exceptional opportunity
for an experienced safety professional to join our SHEQ team.
Reporting to the SHEQ Manager and operating in a fast-paced
environment this hands on role is responsible for the development
and implementation of innovative solutions that drive improvement
in all SHEQ activities; preparing written reports and tender
responses; promoting best practice injury prevention and management
strategies; ensuring legislative compliance and providing expert
technical advice to line managers and supervisors to ensure
continuous improvement to safety performance.
About You
Tertiary qualified with experience
working in a large multi-site company preferably in a mining,
manufacturing or heavy industry environment. An effective
communicator with the ability to communicate with a diverse range
of people and the ambition to achieve outstanding results, you will
approach everything you do with energy, drive and a commitment to
excellence. Additionally, you will be passionate about performance
with an ability to collaborate and develop practical solutions.
Your Skills
To achieve great results, you will need to bring your skills and
experience to the fore. This includes:
Proactive and solutions approach with the ability to work
well under pressure.
Outstanding written and verbal communication.
Demonstrated knowledge of incident investigation and risk
management.
Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft
Office.
Excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to
detail.
Ability to research, interpret and provide advice on
relevant legislation.
Proven ability to educate and influence a diverse
workforce.
