The Role
GNI are seeking an experienced SiteSHEQ Manager to lead and coordinate all SHEQ operations on our Pilbara Transmission Project. The contract will be on a 3:1 FIFO roster from Perth.
Reporting directly to the National SHEQ Manager, the SiteSHEQ Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading and conducting audits & inspections
- Working with operational management to ensure execution of the SHEQ strategy, policies, and procedures
- Leading in the delivery of SHEQ improvement programs & communications
- Leading incident investigations
- Overseeing, monitoring and reporting on Project SHEQ performance
- 5+ years WHS/OHS experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety
- First Aid and CPR Training
- Construction Safety Induction (‘White Card’)
- Current Drivers License - "C" Class
- National Police Clearance
- Demonstrated experience in managing high performance teams
- ICAM investigation training
- Strong knowledge of WA WHS Legislation, Codes and Standards
- High level communication and interpersonal skills
- FMG Inducted
- Drug & Alcohol testing qualifications
- Training & Assessor and Quality Auditing qualifications
- Experience in Transmission Lines and Substations
