SHET Advisor (8 – 10 week contract)
  
Alchemy is looking for a Safety, Health Environment and Training Advisor for an 8 – 10 week contract.  This role is supporting a civil project in the Toowoomba region. 
  
This position is with a civil contractor and is offering a day rate, accommodation and is on a 5/2 6/1 roster. 
  
In this role you will:

• Facilitate and develop risk assessments in alignment with the project’s schedule of works.
• Develop, schedule and champion a project specific HSE Monitoring Program directly informed by completed, activity specific risk assessments.
• Facilitate and report on incident investigations
• Monitor the effectiveness of the application of the Safety and Health, Environment and Training Management Plans on site and provide advice to the on possible improvement initiatives.
• Notify, classify and record in the incident database all incidents that occur on the project such that a complete and accurate incident record exists;
• Conduct audits, inspections and observations to demonstrate visible safety leadership and sound audit practice;

  
To be considered for this role you must have:

• Relevant Diploma level qualification or equivalent experience
• Minimum two years mining site-based experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate risk assessments associated with mining work.
• Experience in auditing, incident reporting and incident investigation is must.
