Reporting directly to the Dayshift leading hand and Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for executing all facets of the preventative maintenance program including work orders and periodic inspections, breakdown maintenance, as well as process improvements and maintenance on a rotating shift roster.
How you will contribute
Key areas of responsibility include:
Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance inspections on plant and equipment including record keeping.
Responding to machine breakdowns and undertaking necessary repairs.
Machine settings.
Recommending and implementing production process improvements.
General Machining
Compliance with company policies and procedures and statutory regulation
General stainless steel TIG welding
Pneumatics trouble shooting
To be considered for this position you will be:
Fitter and Turner Cert 3 qualified
Maintain a safe working environment through adherence to isolation procedures and correct use of tools and equipment.
Demonstration of a strong work ethic
Work well in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build supportive rapport.
Demonstrate good written and computer skills.
Previous work in the food industry would be an advantage but not essential.
Sanitary stainless steel TIG welding would be an advantage.

Attractive night shift penalties
C10 ($42.26) up to C6 ($54.50) competency classification
$100-$120K plus overtime
