The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for analysing process control samples and providing analytical results to the processing plant to ensure efficient production.
You will be responsible for:
- Production of high quality data
- Delivery of results within specified turn-around times;
- Completion of instrument and general maintenance tasks
- Adherence to quantitative analysis procedures and work instructions
About You
This role would suit a driven and analytical thinker that is looking for a new role where no two days are the same. You will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Analytical Chemistry (TAFE Certificate, diploma or university degree);
- Significant experience working within an analytical laboratory
- ICP-OES experience preferably on Perkin Elmer instruments
- XRF experience
- Experience with classical wet chemistry analytical techniques
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
