Shift Laboratory Technican

The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for analysing process control samples and providing analytical results to the processing plant to ensure efficient production.

You will be responsible for:

• Production of high quality data
• Delivery of results within specified turn-around times;
• Completion of instrument and general maintenance tasks
• Adherence to quantitative analysis procedures and work instructions

About You
This role would suit a driven and analytical thinker that is looking for a new role where no two days are the same. You will also have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Analytical Chemistry (TAFE Certificate, diploma or university degree);
• Significant experience working within an analytical laboratory
• ICP-OES experience preferably on Perkin Elmer instruments
• XRF experience
• Experience with classical wet chemistry analytical techniques
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
