We are seeking a motivated person to join our dynamic Shipping/Tech Support team in the off-grid solar and solar pumping industries.
As a Shipping and Tech Support member you will play a crucial role in providing assistance to the Shipping & Tech support teams as well as our clients. This role requires a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills and a commitment to teamwork as well as customer satisfaction. You will start out providing assistance to our current Shipping and Technical Support teams and will be provided with on-the-job training.

Objectives & Responsibilities
• Picking and packing orders on behalf of both Shipping and Tech Support teams which involves collecting products and getting them ready for dispatch.
• Checking incoming stock and warranty returns against invoices and inspecting them to ensure they are free of damage.
• Unloading delivery trucks and unpacking the contents of packages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Production/ Shipping and Tech Support to ensure seamless customer support and problem resolution.
• Complying with safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Use warehousing machinery such as forklifts to lift, place and remove items on high Pallet racking.
• Sorting items and placing them in the correct location.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
Required Skills And Knowledge:
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside of the box to provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, MS Office Suite, and other relevant software tools.
- Ability to learn and interpret relevant industry standards, codes, and best practices.
Preffered Experience (Not Essential):
- Knowledge of off-grid solar systems, including solar panels, batteries, charge controllers, inverters, and related components.
- A background in Warehousing/Stock control operations.
- Forklift licence.
