ASPSM is currently looking for expressions of interest from qualified personnel for permanent and reliever positions.
Positions sought:
- Masters
- Chief Officers/Mates
- Chief Engineers/Engineers
- IR/GPH
Essential:
- Must be eligible to work in Australia
- Must be qualified for the position applied for
- Certificates of Competency or Proficiency must be valid
- Must have valid AMSA Medical
- Must have Tanker Endorsement certificate
- Hold or be eligible for a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
- Must pass a Drug and Alcohol test along with pre-employment medical
- Current references
Required, skills & minimum qualifications:
- Masters/Chief Officer - Master 1; Master<35 m Near Coastal (Pilotage Exemption Certificate and Pilotage Area Endorsement for the Brisbane pilotage area is preferred)
- Chief Engineers - Engineer Class 1 (Motor); Marine Engine Driver Grade 1
- Mates - Chief Officer; Master<35 m Near Coastal
- Engineers - Watchkeepers OOW; Marine Engine Driver Grade 1
- IR - Cert of Proficiency
- GPH - GPH NC
