The Campus Talent Acquisition team encompasses intern and graduate recruitment into numerous programs within the group, nationally and Internationally. Graduate learning also sits within this team.
As a Talent Acquisition Partner- Graduate and Intern Recruitment, your role is key to delivering leading Intern and Graduate talent to support the Group's vision. You will deliver value through:
- Identifying and hiring 'future leaders' to support business strategy
- Enhancing and protecting the Group's reputation, culture and brand
- Building talent pools at university student and graduate levels
We follow a hybrid working model, working 50% in the Sydney CBD office a month.
Do work that matters:To be an effective team member in the Campus Talent Acquisition Team in managing an end-to-end recruitment process, including providing effective attraction and selection processes and on-boarding to ensure a pipeline of the best young talent (both interns and graduates) is maintained across the Group.
You will report into the Talent Acquisition Manager - Campus Operations and will be responsible but not limited to the following;
- Identify and implement a variety of sourcing channels, attracting and pipelining talent to Summer Intern and Graduate Programs
- Collaborate with Business Unit HR and Line Managers (varied CommBank BUs and affiliates of the Group - Bankwest) to develop an understanding of business requirements and candidate profiles required to ensure selection of appropriate talent that is highly skilled and a strong organisational fit, aligned to our capability framework
- Work closely with Graduate Steering Committees to develop tailored attraction and selection activities for their business and consult on best practice for Graduate Programs
- Proactively build a pool of talent (ranging from 1st year to final year students/graduates), delivering excellent candidate care
- Co-lead the recruitment processes for the Graduate and Summer Intern programs, including providing effective selection methodologies to ensure a diverse pipeline of young talent and providing effective on-boarding processes.
- Work collaboratively with the Indigenous Careers Acquisition team and third parties, such as Stepping Into, to facilitate optimal transfer of talent onto appropriate Group campus programs
- Actively coach and up-skill Graduate Program Managers and hiring managers in best practice Talent Acquisition, assessment and selection techniques.
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
- The ability to work in a competitive commercial environment and to work under pressure (including to very tight timeframes).
- Stakeholder management capability
- Experience recruiting across breadth of business areas would be desirable
- Significant recruitment experience with exposure to high volume recruitment environment, ideally in the graduate space
- Understanding of Graduate Recruitment life cycle and calendar would be desirable
