Shop Co-Ordinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Shop Co-Ordinator at our new Black Forest location at SPELD SA. Located at our newly purpose-built Education Hub at South Road, with on-site car parking. You will report to our Customer Service/Retail Manager and form part of our administration and retail team. This role can be considered part time for the right candidate.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Manage the database in relation to Shop transactions, including receiving and checking online orders. 
• Regularly reviewing new orders on our Shopify system to ensure they are converted to purchase order or payment of invoice.
• Wrap and pack orders, create labels and liaise with delivery service for parcel delivery
• Monitor shop@ inbox and be the initial contact for customers enquiring about products and delivery times. 
• Work in conjunction with the Education Team in supporting new product lines and referring complex member enquiries
• For returns of stock ensure it fulfills returns policy and is returned to stock in a timely manner
• Keep accurate records of completed orders
• Regularly reconciliation of stock and online orders and report discrepancies
• Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions as per company guidelines
• Adhere to health and safety policies, include maintaining a tidy and organised stock room
• Contribute to scheduled stock takes as per company requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Retail experience in warehouse logistics, sales, customer service and stock management is preferable.
• Experience in the Shopify system will be highly regarded.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Customer first attitude
• Manual handling safe practices
• Current drivers’ licence and own transport
• Self-motivated and takes initiative

For over 50 years we have been delivering a range of services to the community including professional development training, workshops, psychological assessments, literacy and numeracy clinics and extensive resources through our library and bookshop. We work with the Department for Education, Catholic and Independent schools, as well as universities, TAFE colleges, and other organisations.
