SalaryTJD Installations comprises a team of experienced shopfitters that deliver exceptional quality shop fit outs for retail, hospitality and commercial industry sectors. We are a small business located in Heidelberg West, Melbourne, Victoria.
As a result of an increase in upcoming works located throughout Melbourne and in regional Victoria, TJD Installations have several immediate opportunities for Fit-out Tradespersons to join us on a permanent and full-time basis.

The Role
As a qualified tradesperson (Cabinet Maker / shopfitter / installer) reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will have:
- Completed an apprenticeship in Shopfitting, cabinet making, joinery, carpentry or building
- Current Australian driver’s license
- Construction Industry Whitecard
- Experience working with Shop fittings and Cabinetry, including, veneers, laminates and natural timbers
- Experience in both factory work and on-site installation
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Ability to work within a team or individually
- Site measures and drawings
- Excellent hand skills
- Uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures
- Positive attitude and "can-do" mentality

Required Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will hold a relevant trade qualification and will have:
- Prior experience in any of the following roles:
- Shopfitter
- Cabinet Maker
- Joiner
- Site Installer
- A sound working knowledge of cabinet making and/or shopfitting and cabinetry installation
- The ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Confidence using hand tools, power tools and other equipment safely
- Be physically fit and comfortable working in confined spaces, as well as at heights
- Have full and current Australian working rights
