We are currently seeking a Full-time Student Services Coordinator to join our Melbourne team offering ample growth opportunities.
The Student Services Coordinator oversees the Student Services Department, managing functions like admissions, enrollment, compliance, and improving departmental efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Enhance international student administration operations.
- Maintain student/ staff records in RGIT's systems.
- Provide top-notch customer service to students and staff.
- Support students referred to external agencies.
- Manage and support staff.
- Organize student orientation and enrollment.
- Handle student intervention and complaints.
- Generate and analyze reports.
- Maintain a student record on PRISMS.
- Issue COE documents in a timely manner.
- Processing variation of withdrawal, refund, deferment, suspension, extension, and cancellation.
- Report generation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes in a service-oriented environment
- International student application and enrollment according to student visa requirements.
- Monitor and improve the Short Course department operations, maintaining satisfactory standards
- Monitor changes in the respective government regulations and legislation, and adjust operations to meet requirements.
- In the event of any complaints/issues, ensure the matter is resolved and operations are adjusted and improved accordingly.
- Maintain confidentiality, composure and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Preferably holds a degree in business or administration.
- Minimum 3 years of student service administration experience.
- Minimum 2 years of staff management experience.
- Demonstrate appropriate high- level computer skills, including the use of Learning Management Systems, Spreadsheets, Word-processing, Microsoft and Google suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly persona during encounters with stakeholders
- Be research active to inform their work
- Demonstrate the ability and preparedness to take a lead role in team meetings.
- Experience in PRISMS preferred
