Short Form Video Editor

We are seeking a dynamic Short Form Video Editor with 2-3 years of experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating engaging short-Form Video content and experience in growing either personal or client accounts across various social media platforms. As a Short Form Video Editor, you will autonomously ideate and execute content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter, contributing to our brand's digital presence and consumer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ideate and produce a high volume of engaging and high-quality short-Form Video content across multiple social media platforms. Mainly focusing on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
• Create content that establishes impactful connections with consumers, measured by attention metrics such as likes, comments, and shares.
• Collaborate closely with teammates and cross-functional departments to fulfill rapid-fire requests and meet tight deadlines.
• Actively participate in creative brainstorms, kick-offs, and team meetings, contributing ideas and assisting in strategy formulation.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in video editing and content creation, with a focus on short-Form Video content.
• Demonstrable experience in growing either personal or client accounts on social media platforms.
• Proficiency in DSLR videography and photography.
• Expertise in editing software such as Final Cut and After Effects.
• Strong writing skills, with experience using Google Docs and Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in design tools including Adobe Suite, Google Slides, and Canva.
• Ability to independently execute content creation from start to finish, encompassing design, video editing, and writing.
• Demonstrated responsibility, accountability, and self-starting initiative.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams to achieve positive results.

Skills:

• Proven experience as a Short Form Video Editor, ideally within the education sector.
• Exceptional video editing skills, demonstrating talent in storytelling and meticulous attention to detail in the editing process.
• Proficiency across various video editing software and tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent, along with a deep understanding of best practices in video editing.
• Familiarity with content creation tools specific to video editing, scheduling platforms, and digital marketing concepts relevant to video content.
