Position: Short Order Cook
Location: Miami Fish Market, Gold Coast
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook delicious fish and chips according to Miami Fish Market's recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food items are cooked and served promptly while maintaining quality and freshness.
- Handle and prepare seafood with care, following proper food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with kitchen tasks such as food preparation, stocking inventory, and cleaning as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a short order cook or similar role, preferably in a seafood or restaurant setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
