About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Communication Engineer to take on a multifaceted leadership and technical role, based at our operations in the Gunnedah Basin. Your expertise will drive implementation of networks, communications installations and development of methods to enable OT and AHS operations across the site.
This is a site-based role working a 9 day fortnight roster at Maules Creek Mine. Temporary accommodation & relocation assistance is provided.
What You'll Do
Working across a range of systems and technologies; key duties will include:
Lead, support and provide mentorship to a team of Technicians
Ensure safe, efficient and productive planning of various network activities and critical safety systems
Deliver high quality solutions across FMS, AHS, IT systems, CCTV and industrial networks
Demonstrate visible safe work practices, managing risk and acting as a role model of safety every day
What You'll Bring
Relevant qualifications in Engineering
Demonstrated experience and familiarity with mining operations technology
Demonstrated supervision experience of a team is desirable
Strong data analysis skills, problem-solving abilities & ability to work under pressure
