We are looking for a Short Term Planner - Mobile Maintenance Equipment for the Paraburdoo operation. This role is a great opportunity for a passionate and self-motivated individual who has exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. You will have the ability to work in a flexible environment and will need to be able to effectively prioritize your workload. Reporting to the Senior Planner, you will be:
- Be the custodian of the Rio Tinto Work Management Process for your area
- Develop and maintain Maintenance Plans through all phases of the work management process
- Facilitate planning meetings in accordance with the work management process
- Detailed planning of work in SAP, capturing improvement changes, developing estimations of resource requirements and ordering of parts and materials
- Prioritising work according to maintenance plans and asset risk with Supervisors, Superintendents and external departments, utilising considerable stakeholder and relationship building skills
- Developing and refining the scheduled outage forecast working in with site and central teams to optimise and manage business impact
- Understand and work with Long Term Planners to develop and work within the boundaries of the Zero Based Budget
- Work closely with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure effective communication of plans to mitigate risk
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Proven experience using SAP
- Experience with executing, scheduling or planning asset maintenance
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Project and Excel)
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Able to be proactive and flexible
- Highly organised with great record keeping skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Complex problem solving and ability to think on your feet to deliver effective and sustainable
