We are delighted to invite applications for experienced Shotfirer positions in our South Australian Quarries Business.
There has never been a better time to join our Adelaide Quarry Services team. With several long-term contracts in Australia now signed and underway, and more exciting new business ventures to come shortly this area of our business is buzzing with excitement.
As a valued member of our quarrying teams, you will always assist in providing quality service to our South Australian Quarries customers in a safe and environmentally conscious manner. You will work closely with surveyors, MMU operators, and Bench assistants on-site, managing all tasks associated with loading, tying, and firing blasts.

- Providing operational blasting knowledge and advice to our client blast crews and associated stakeholders
- Shotfiring duties include magazine management, managing the loading, tying, and firing of blasts, and following drill and blast designs.
- Assisting with the training and mentoring of new team members.
- Working in tight unison with all blast crew teammates to provide excellence in service to our valued customers.
- At all times, acting with integrity and respect.
- An unquestionable attitude toward working safely is a priority.
- Knowledge of blasting and blasting procedures.
- Knowledge of explosives and storage regulations.
- 1-year minimum shotfiring experience.
- WA Shotfirer’s license (essential).
- WA DG’s - Explosive Transport License/DG Security Card (desirable or eligible to obtain).
- HR Unrestricted License (desirable or eligible to obtain).
- A positive team-oriented work ethic.
