About The Position
Terra Mining is seeking an experienced Senior Shotfirer to join our team at our project near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.
As part of our diverse, dynamic, and driven production team, you will be crucial in maintaining safe operations while achieving project operational requirements and targets.
What We Offer
- Fulltime role
- Kalgoorlie Residential (DIDO) or via Perth (FIFO)
- $2/hr local residence allowance for those residing in Kalgoorlie.
- Immediate start - 2/2 roster, rotating day/night shift.
- Superannuation paid on all hours worked.
- Retention bonus paid every six months.
- All meals and camp accommodation provided to FIFO and DIDO personnel
- Camp in the heart of Kalgoorlie town
- Site 10-minute drive from camp
- Five weeks annual leave a year, ten days personal leave entitlements

What You Will Bring
- A positive team-orientated work ethic with strong leadership qualities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both up and down stream
- 3 years’ experience working in a similar role, with time spent leading a Blast Crew
- A current WA Shotfirers License
- A comprehensive understanding of WA Mine Safety and Inspection and OHS Act/Regs for Mine Explosives management will be considered an advantage
- A current Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)
- A current WA Driver’s Licence
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to utilise Shotplus for blast tie-up plans
- Confidence to perform every task to a high safety standard, in compliance with our OH&S processes and procedures
- Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
- Current national police clearance, issued within the last twelve months.
