We are delighted to announce that we are inviting applications for experienced Shotfirers and MMU operators to join our tight-knit operations team in one of our sites near Coppabella! This will be a Drive-in Drive-Dido (DIDO) position, 7/7 roster and camp facilities will be provided for the duration of the roster.
The Shotfirers will assist, and provide direction, supervision and guidance to the Blast Crew in the process of loading, tying and firing large shots while the MMU Operator will operate the MMU to pump the explosive product into pre-drilled blast holes on our customer site.

As a SHOTFIRER:
- Providing operational blasting knowledge and advice to our client blast crews and associated stakeholders;
- Shotfiring duties including magazine management, managing the loading, tying and firing of blasts, following drill and blast designs;
- Working in tight unison with your teammates to provide excellence in service to our valued customers;
- Assisting with the training and mentoring of new team members;
- At all times acting with integrity and respect.
As a MMU Operator:
- Operating our MMU vehicle (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and other associated blasting plant and machinery;
- Assisting with preventative maintenance.
- Assist with the 'hands-on' delivery of explosive products down pre-drilled blast holes on bench;
- Working in tight unison with your teammates to provide an excellence in service to our valued customers;
- Daily administration and customer interactions
But above all - Demonstrating and setting the example of our key company value: 'Safety is our Priority, Always'; and at all times acting with integrity and respect.
As a SHOTFIRER:
- Experience operating as a full shotfirer;
- Knowledge of explosive and storage regulations;
- Knowledge of blasting and blasting procedures;
- QLD Shotfirers Licence;
- Current HR licence (highly desirable);
- Hold a current QLD Explosives Security Clearance;
- An impeccable safety record and commitment toward safety.
As a MMU OPERATOR:
- An unquestionable attitude toward working safely as a priority;
- Experience operating an MMU, or similar blast delivery vehicle; or
- Current HR Licence;
- Current QLD Explosives Security Clearance;
- A positive team-orientated work ethic;
- A positive attitude to customer service
