- 2:1 roster (7D7N7RR) or 2:2 (7D7N14RR) | FIFO Perth to Iron Bridge Mine (salary sacrifice options available for applicants outside WA) or DIDO available for Port Hedland residents
- $2,000 sign on/retention bonus and competitive salary

In this role, you will:
- Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output
- Complying with Thiess' policies and procedures
- Responding to instructions from Mining Supervisor
- Excavating to design boundaries of ore bodies, berms and pit walls
- Ensuring floor levels are maintained
- Minimising dilution and achieving design parameters within acceptable tolerances
- Setting and maintain high housekeeping standards
- Carrying out pre-start checks
About you
- At least 2 years mining experience as mining production Shovel
- Equivalent to or specific experience operating Hitachi EX3600 and CAT6060 is essential
- Experience in loading dump trucks in a mining production environment essential
- Sound knowledge and understanding of ore mark ups and pit configuration
- Skills to mine out benches and cutting batters, leaving minimal amount of material for final trim to design of batter angle
- Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times
