Saturdays: 11am - 4pm

THE ROLE
You'll be warmly welcoming customers into our showroom and offering guidance and orientation. Your expertise lies in identifying and exploring the needs of our customers and diving deeper into their preferences. You’ll help navigate our extensive range of products, guiding them toward options that best align with their requirements. In addition to sparking excitement about our products, you'll instill confidence in customers by outlining our industry-leading returns policy. This guarantees peace of mind with a risk-free trial period, allowing you to confidently ask for the sale.
What you can expect to be doing day-to-day:
- Interacting with customers on the showroom floor, providing product recommendations, and leading customers to make a buying decision that best suits their needs.
- Processing orders, taking payments, and accurately documenting all relevant information about the order.
- Checking stock availability in the adjoining warehouse and helping move cartons to the assembly area if required.
- Accepting customer exchanges and returns by communicating with the customer about their requirements, processing the refund or exchange of items, and assisting the customer with placing their returned products in the designated area.
- Assisting with typical reception tasks by answering phone calls, replying to emails, and processing online orders.
- Maintaining the display, resetting the showroom, and taking responsibility for a clean and tidy working environment.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST HAVE
Experience in retail, hospitality, sales or customer service (experience selling furniture, homewares, or other industry-related products is preferred but not essential)
Genuine interest in furniture and interiors
Warm and friendly disposition, enjoy engaging with others
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Basic computer skills
Must be able to work Saturdays 11am-4pm
