Shutdown positions and labourers

Do you want extra casual local work? Backpacking in Queensland? New to the resource and mining industry or looking for something different? We have entry level opportunities into this industry with both labouring and Shutdown positions on offer in and around Brisbane.

About the Roles

We are looking to engage several skilled and unskilled employees for local site positions and shutdown opportunities. These roles are comprised of a multitude of duties and responsibilities that can help keep a steady workflow between projects and jobs and are designed to assist people in gaining experience in the industry.

A picture of what these the roles involve:

• 10 - 12 hour days
• 5 - 6 days a week
• Good rates with penalties
• Day and night shifts
• Accommodation and meals provided (Shutdowns)
• 4-6 weeks' worth of work (Shutdowns)

Tasks for these roles will include:

• Working around and with Vacuum tanks
• Vac and tank work
• Confined Space works
• Labouring Duties

About you

You will be physically fit, hard working, willing to undertake any sort of tasks, eager to learn new skills, driven to succeed in this industry.

You will need to have or willing to obtain:

• Drivers License
• White Card
• Confined Space Card
• Working at Heights Card
