Maxima, and our Host Employer, are looking for a creative individual to undertake a Sign Maker Apprenticeship. 

This 48-month fulltime position will enable you to develop relevant skills and knowledge within the industry through working hands-on, and support this with study on-the-job towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Signs and Graphics.

Duties Include:

• Assemble digital print and computer cut signage
• Signage removal
• Prepare signage including laminating, trimming, and laying 
• Assist with retail tasks including delivery scheduling 
• Signage installation of various surfaces 
• Operate industry specific equipment and technology 

• Ability to follow directions
• Commitment to providing high quality work 
• Strong work ethic; reliable and punctual 
• Willingness to learn with a can-do attitude
• Thrive working in team environments and autonomously

• Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle 
• Physically fit to undertake manual installation work
• Basic mathematics and computer skills 
• Comfortable working at heights e.g. ladders, scaffolds or scissor lifts
