Job description

Switch Commercial Interiors specialises in high end commercial projects and prides itself on delivering a high quality product to our clients.

We work for various builders and architects within the greater Brisbane and Gold Coast region.

We are seeking a full time Site Co-Ordinator who will be responsible for the oversight, daily management, supervision, co-ordination and successful completion of projects. 

A person that prides themselves on working as part of a team to complete projects on time and to schedule.

In the Role you will

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Carrying out administration & OHS needs for project (SWMS and JSA’s)
  • Schedule projects and ensure joinery programmes are followed and regularly updated with short and long term project plan
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and clear communication channels with all parties involved in project
  • Ensure any changes from original scope of works is identified and costed accordingly.
  • Discuss joinery requirements with the Design Production and Installation teams
  • Liaise with Client/Site Managers to establish clear scope of works and installation requirements
  • Manage installation requirements including scheduling installation team
  • Organise deliveries with production and site
  • Site inspections, meetings and set-outs
  • Reporting to management as required
  • Includes Company Vehicle and Mobile Phone
  • Salary Package with be negotiated dependant on experience
  • (Qualified Joinery/Cabinets Makers looking to get off the tools are encouraged to apply)


Skills and Requirements

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • Great joinery/cabinet making construction knowledge
  • Sound joinery material & hardware knowledge
  • A trade background is preferred - cabinet making/joinery
  • Proven track record in managing and motivating project teams to achieve delivery excellence·
  • The ability to work independently and within a team
  • Computer Literate with experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A lateral thinker that can apply past experience to new situations
  • Experience with custom joinery is highly regarded
