The Role
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring project and maintenance activities are delivered in accordance with the Scope of Works, budget, schedule and our core values. This role is primarily field based and will be predominantly in the southern parts of WA.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring project and maintenance activities are delivered in accordance with the Scope of Works, budget, schedule and our core values. This role is primarily field based and will be predominantly in the southern parts of WA.
The Construction Manager’s day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and directing the construction activities, including in-depth reviews of scheduled deliverables, managing costs, materials, equipment and resources.
- Ensuring teams meet or exceed the required performance targets and delivers scope of work in accordance with client and project/ maintenance specifications.
- Assisting in the resolution of any technical problems encountered during the execution of the works.
- Providing hands on leadership and direction to the field based teams.
- Reviewing construction programs, identify and forecast risks and suggest opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the clients site based personnel to ensure compliance satisfactory completion results.
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders, consistently upholding standards and best business practices.
- Striving for high client and business satisfaction.
- Qualification in Electrical trade (Cert III Distribution Lines).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Minimum 7 years HV overhead powerline construction and maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing high performance teams.
- Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
- Valid Driver’s Licence HR
- OHS Construction Induction Card
- High level customer relationship management and interpersonal skills.
- Qualifications in Construction Management and/or Leadership training highly regarded.
- Cert IV Training and Assessment.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with QA/QC process management and continuous improvement
- First Aid Training
