As a Site Delivery Manager / Construction Manager - HV Substations and Transmission Lines, you'll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day.
And you'll do it with down-to-earth people who you're proud to work with and get to know. Here's how:
- Support the Project Manager through the development of a construction delivery strategy for multiple high voltage transmission line and substation infrastructure projects.
- Throughout project execution, you will coordinate, manage and direct Site Delivery key completion activities.
- Using your efficient and safe delivery experience for all project site deliverables, in line with overall delivery plan.
- Your stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills to proactively manage that interface will ensure key deliverables are achieved.
- In line with the overall project delivery schedule you will manage material co-ordination, equipment and facilitate construction project releases.
What you'll bring
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Project Management and/or
- Electrical Trade coupled with significant experience in leading the construction of HV infrastructure delivery projects.
- Current Qld "C class" Drivers Licence
- Qld Electrical licence
We'd also love you to have:
- Significant experience in the HV transmission sector or similar, reporting progress and risk mitigation.
- Demonstrated ability to actively manage works in delivery stage, read and understand electrical drawings, including line diagrams, schematic and general layout.
- Experience in managing and analysing commercial contracts, technical specifications and tenders.
- Ability to work from regional construction sites for up to a number of days per week or when required, to support the on-site project and construction delivery teams.
- Demonstrated time management, planning and organisational skills, prioritising and negotiation a challenging construction schedule.
- Tenacity and initiative to work through complex construction activities and issues focussed on optimised and efficient delivery.
We have multiple Brisbane, Cairns, Gladstone & Townsville based roles. Relocation package on offer.
