About the role
McIlwain are seeking a Site Engineer who will play a crucial role in helping to deliver an exciting project in the Blue Mountains. The successful candidate will have a safety focus and be interested in learning multiple facets of an engineering role, including cost control, quality management, procurement and planning.
Duties
- Ensure adequate resources are available to complete required activities to maintain progress.
- Be aware of critical activities and ensure these are given priority and communicate such with the site project supervisor.
- Place orders for materials and sub-contractors.
- Keep Project Manager and/or Project Engineer well informed of all matters relating to the projects including any potential problems before they arise.
Skills & experience
- 1+ years post graduate experience in civil engineering
- Bachelor in Civil Engineering (minimum)
- Experience in Transport NSW Specification projects highly desirable
