Assistant AccountantTHE OPPORTUNITYAbout the roleThe position supports recording, reconciling and providing key financial information to support accurate recording of transactions that will aid planning and commercial decision making that will ensure future growth and profitability of KGF Australia. Important part of the
Assistant Accountant’s role is to support the proper treatment for business transactions for all KGF AU’s entities, clear, clean and timely reconciliations, and analysis to assist in bringing together trading performance results for EOM Close processes.Location: Birtinya
ABOUT YOUYOUR RESPONSILBITIES
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and processing of respective journals for KGF AU entities.
- Process Payroll journals for KGF AU Entities
- Process accruals, P&L, and balance sheet journals, in anticipation of month end close.
- Monthly preparation and clearing of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with year-end audit and reporting.
- Manage credit card matters including issuing monthly statements to credit card owners, providing training for coding, submission of vouchers and ensuring GST is properly managed.
- Any other ad hoc tasks as directed by the Team Leader.
TO BE SUCCESSFULYou will bring with you:
- 1-2 years’ Financial Accounting / Management Accounting experience.
- Attention to detail and commercial acumen.
Qualifications required:- Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Major)
