About the Project & Opportunity:
Acciona has been awarded the Design & Construct contract for the Singleton Bypass. This major project will see construction of 8km of single lane highway with 6 bridge structures and upgrades to local intersections. This diverse and challenging project has a 2-year program ensuring longevity in your role and presenting opportunities to grow within the business.
We are looking to engage Site Engineers to support our site teams delivering both Civil and Structures packages. You will be supported by Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers as you learn and develop your experience. You will be on site in Singleton and working a standard 5-2 work week,
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensure appropriate permits and approvals are in place to facilitate daily works activities.
- Preparation of Work Procedures, Inspection & Test Plans, Safe Work Methods Statements (SWMS), Construction Procedures and Site Access Plans
- Assist in procurement and the arrangement of Purchase Orders.
- Tracking of costs and establishment of productivity measures Monitor and liaise with the project delivery team to ensure you are fully aware of the current and planned daily activities of the project
- Accurately record the daily progress, material deliveries and daily site resources pertaining to all site works, including subcontract works.
Competencies and Capabilities we are looking for:
- Bachelor of Engineering (or similar) (Essential)
- General Construction Induction (White Card) (Essential)
- 2+ years' experience in a site-based construction role (Essential)
- Experience working on a mega-construction Project (Desirable)
